The Fumot RandM Tornado 15000 feels like a practical upgrade over the older Tornado 9000 and 10000 models. It keeps the recognizable Fumot styling and strong fruit flavor, but adds two features that make a real difference during use: an adjustable bottom airflow control and an integrated screen for monitoring battery and e-liquid levels.
In our first-use test, the Strawberry Banana flavor produced a strong, sweet fruit profile, while the 2% nicotine version felt more balanced and less aggressive than the older RandM 9000 sample we compared it with.
However, the 15K is not especially compact. Its tall body and listed weight of approximately 135g make it more noticeable in a pocket than smaller box-shaped devices. The illuminated base may also attract more attention than some users want.
Quick Verdict
The Tornado 15000 is best suited to adult users who want:
- Adjustable airflow instead of a fixed draw
- A visible battery and e-liquid indicator
- Strong fruit flavor
- A rechargeable single-flavor device
- More listed capacity than older Tornado models
Its main disadvantages are its tall body, relatively heavy weight and noticeable bottom light. In addition, the advertised 15,000-puff figure should be treated as a manufacturer-rated maximum rather than a guaranteed result.
Overall, the Tornado 15000 is a more useful upgrade than its puff-count increase alone suggests. The airflow control and screen matter more in daily use than the difference between a 9K, 10K and 15K label.

What We Tested
For this review, we used the Strawberry Banana flavor in 2% nicotine.
The test focused on:
- Packaging and first impressions
- Size and handling
- Screen visibility
- Battery and e-liquid indicators
- Adjustable airflow
- Vapor production
- Strawberry Banana flavor
- Perceived throat hit
- Comparison with an older RandM Tornado 9000
This was not a complete lifetime test. Therefore, we are not claiming that the device delivered exactly 15,000 puffs, nor are we giving a measured charging time or long-term coil durability result.

Design and Build Quality
The first thing we noticed was the shape.
Compared with the older RandM Tornado 9000 and 10000, the 15000 is taller and slightly slimmer. The earlier devices feel shorter and bulkier, while the 15K uses a more stretched cylindrical design.
This shape makes the device relatively easy to grip. However, it extends beyond the palm and does not disappear into a pocket as easily as a compact box-style vape.
The exterior uses the illustrated character design associated with many Fumot and RandM devices. Our Strawberry Banana unit had a colorful monkey graphic rather than the older alien-style artwork seen on some previous Tornado models.
The body is mainly plastic. It does not have the rigid feel of a metal pod system, but the finish felt suitable for this type of rechargeable disposable.
At approximately 135g, the Tornado 15000 is portable, although we would not describe it as lightweight.
The Integrated Screen Is More Useful Than It First Appears
The display blends into the body and remains difficult to see when the device is inactive. Once we took a draw, the screen illuminated clearly.
During our test, it showed:
- 66% remaining battery
- Approximately 90% remaining e-liquid
The exact numbers will naturally change from one unit to another. More importantly, the display helps answer two common questions:
- Does the battery need charging?
- Is the device running low on e-liquid?
Without a screen, weaker vapor can be difficult to diagnose. It may come from a low battery, reduced e-liquid, airflow position or coil condition. The indicators remove some of that guesswork.
However, the e-liquid reading should be treated as an estimate. It does not measure the exact number of milliliters remaining, and it cannot predict the exact number of puffs left.
We also did not see a dedicated puff counter during this test. The useful information was the battery percentage and estimated liquid level.
Adjustable Airflow Test
The airflow control is located at the bottom of the Tornado 15000.
This is one of the clearest improvements over older fixed-airflow versions because the user can change the resistance of the draw instead of accepting one factory setting.
With the airflow more restricted
Closing the airflow produced:
- A tighter draw
- More concentrated flavor
- Warmer vapor
- Less total vapor per inhale
- A draw closer to a traditional restricted disposable vape
This setting suited the Strawberry Banana flavor because it made the strawberry note feel more focused.
With the airflow more open
Opening the airflow produced:
- A looser draw
- Cooler-feeling vapor
- A larger cloud
- Less resistance during longer inhales
- A softer concentration of flavor per puff
The widest setting increased vapor output noticeably. However, we would not describe the Tornado 15000 as a fully open hookah-style DTL device. It remains closer to an adjustable disposable draw than a dedicated high-airflow shisha vape.
Which setting was best?
Our preferred position was around the middle.
It provided enough airflow for a comfortable draw without weakening the flavor too much. Users who prefer a tighter inhale can close it further, while those who prioritize vapor can open it.
Because longer and airier draws usually consume more e-liquid, airflow position may also affect how quickly the device is used up.
Strawberry Banana Flavor Review
Strawberry Banana is a familiar combination, but the result depends heavily on balance. Too much strawberry can make it taste sharp or candy-like, while too much banana can create a heavy, artificial finish.
The Tornado 15000 version leaned toward a sweet fruit profile rather than a natural smoothie.
First impression
Strawberry was the clearest flavor on the initial inhale. It tasted sweet and ripe, sitting somewhere between strawberry candy and a strawberry drink rather than freshly cut fruit.
Secondary flavor
Banana became more noticeable after the strawberry. It softened the sharper edge of the berry note and gave the blend a rounder finish.
The banana did not completely dominate the flavor. Instead, it worked underneath the strawberry and became more noticeable in the aftertaste.
Sweetness
Medium to high
This is a clearly sweet flavor. It should appeal to users who already enjoy fruit candy, smoothie or dessert-style profiles.
However, people who prefer dry tobacco, mint or less sweet fruit flavors may find it too rich during long sessions.
Acidity
Low
There was very little sourness. The flavor focused more on ripe sweetness than tart strawberry.
Cooling level
Low
Cooling was not the main feature of our Strawberry Banana sample. The airflow could make the vapor feel cooler, but the e-liquid itself did not behave like a strong ice flavor.
Throat hit
Mild to moderate in the tested 2% version
Compared with the older RandM 9000 sample, the nicotine sensation felt less aggressive. The flavor remained strong, but it did not create the same sharp nicotine-led impression.
The 5% version was not part of this test and should produce a noticeably stronger nicotine sensation.
Aftertaste
The strawberry faded first, while a sweet banana note remained slightly longer. The finish was smooth but still candy-like.
Long-session use
Strawberry Banana works well for users who enjoy consistently sweet fruit blends. However, because the sweetness stays present, it may become tiring for someone who normally prefers mint, citrus or lower-sweetness flavors.
Strawberry Banana Summary
| Flavor Dimension | Our Impression |
|---|---|
| Main Flavor | Sweet strawberry |
| Secondary Flavor | Soft banana |
| Sweetness | Medium-high |
| Acidity | Low |
| Cooling | Low |
| Throat Hit | Mild to moderate at 2% |
| Aftertaste | Sweet banana and fruit candy |
| Best For | Fans of sweet fruit and smoothie-style blends |
| Less Suitable For | Users who prefer dry, sour or strongly iced flavors |
Mesh Coil and Vapor Performance
The current product listing specifies a 1.0Ω mesh coil.
A mesh coil uses a broader heating surface than a basic single-wire coil. In practical terms, this design aims to distribute heat more evenly and deliver flavor across more of the e-liquid-soaked material.
During our first-use test, activation was immediate and the Strawberry Banana flavor came through strongly. Vapor output depended heavily on the airflow position:
- Restricted airflow produced denser and more concentrated flavor.
- Open airflow produced a larger but slightly less concentrated cloud.
- The middle setting provided the best balance for our preference.
We did not experience a dry or burnt taste during the first-use test. However, this was not a full 25ml lifetime test, so we cannot use it to judge how the coil performs near the end of the device.
850mAh Battery and Type-C Charging
The Tornado 15000 uses a rechargeable 850mAh battery with a Type-C port.
An 850mAh battery is reasonable for this type of single-flavor device. More importantly, the screen allows the user to check the remaining percentage instead of waiting for vapor production to weaken.
We have not included a fixed “one charge lasts one or two days” estimate because battery life depends on:
- Puff duration
- Airflow position
- Frequency of use
- Time between draws
- Coil output
- Storage temperature
- Individual battery condition
Someone taking short, restricted draws will get different results from someone using fully open airflow and taking long inhales.
Type-C refers to the charging connection. It does not automatically mean the device supports high-speed charging, and we did not measure a full charging cycle for this review.
Does the Fumot Tornado Really Deliver 15,000 Puffs?
The 15,000-puff figure is the manufacturer’s rated maximum. It is not a guaranteed personal result.
Manufacturers usually calculate puff ratings using short, controlled draws. In normal use, customers may take longer or deeper inhales, especially when the airflow is open.
Actual usage will depend on:
- Average puff duration
- Airflow setting
- Inhalation strength
- Number of daily puffs
- Battery and coil condition
- Storage history
- E-liquid consumption
For that reason, “15K” is best used as a capacity category for comparing devices. It should not be converted directly into a promised number of days.
The 25ml listed capacity, rechargeable battery and e-liquid indicator provide more useful information than the puff number alone.
Fumot Tornado 15000 vs Older Tornado 9000 and 10000
The 15000 does more than increase the number printed on the device.
| Feature | Tornado 15000 | Older Tornado 9000/10000 |
|---|---|---|
| Body Shape | Taller and slimmer | Shorter and bulkier |
| Airflow | Adjustable | More limited or fixed on many versions |
| Display | Integrated battery and e-liquid information | Depends on version; standard models may have fewer indicators |
| Flavor Delivery | Strong, with adjustable concentration | Strong but less customizable |
| Tested 2% Throat Hit | More balanced in our comparison | Sharper in the older 9000 sample |
| Lighting | Noticeable bottom light | Lighting style varies by version |
| Puff Rating | Up to 15,000 | Lower advertised ratings |
The airflow and screen are the most meaningful upgrades. They change how the product works, whereas the higher puff number mainly changes its capacity positioning.
What About the Bottom Light?
The Tornado 15000 illuminates at the bottom during use.
Our test unit produced a large blue light rather than a complex multicolor effect. Some users may enjoy this because it makes the device visually distinctive.
Others may find it too noticeable, especially in a dark room or public setting. The light does not improve flavor, battery life or airflow, so its value comes down entirely to personal taste.
This is worth considering if you prefer a discreet device.
Fumot Tornado 15000 vs Digital Box 12000
The Tornado 15000 and Digital Box 12000 use different body styles and suit different preferences.
| Feature | Tornado 15000 | Digital Box 12000 |
|---|---|---|
| Rated Puff Count | Up to 15,000 | Up to 12,000 |
| Listed E-liquid | 25ml | 20ml |
| Battery | 850mAh | 850mAh |
| Coil | 1.0Ω mesh | 1.0Ω mesh |
| Body | Tall Tornado design | Shorter box-shaped design |
| Airflow | Adjustable | Fixed |
| Main Advantage | Draw customization and greater listed capacity | More compact and straightforward |
Choose the Tornado 15000 if adjustable airflow matters to you. Choose the Digital Box 12000 if you prefer a shorter device and do not need to change the draw.

The main challenge is flavor selection. A wide catalogue can attract more customers, but stocking too many similar fruit combinations can also tie up inventory.
Instead of ordering every available option immediately, stores can begin with a balanced group:
- One berry flavor
- One tropical flavor
- One ice flavor
- One beverage flavor
- One mint flavor
- One familiar combination such as Strawberry Banana
Current availability can be checked through the complete Fumot vape collection or the 15K puffs category.

Final Verdict
The Fumot RandM Tornado 15000 improves on the older Tornado formula in ways that matter during real use.
The adjustable airflow changes both draw resistance and vapor output. Meanwhile, the integrated screen makes it easier to understand whether the battery needs charging or the e-liquid is running low.
Strawberry Banana delivered a strong, sweet fruit profile in our test. The strawberry appeared first, while banana softened the finish. At 2% nicotine, the throat sensation felt more balanced than the older RandM 9000 sample we compared it with.
The device is not perfect. It is tall, relatively heavy and less discreet than a compact box-style vape. The illuminated bottom may also divide opinion. Finally, the 15K figure remains a manufacturer rating rather than a guaranteed result.
Choose the Tornado 15000 for its airflow control, readable status information and strong flavor—not simply because the number on the packaging is higher.
